Hey, RFTR fans I'm not done with this whole deal here I've just been a tad bit busy with extremely important things. Its getting into that final area of the semester where i have a lot to do and so this has just dropped off my personal map but that said its mostly been Skyrim consuming my attention.
That said here's today's random event, I seem to simply draw all of Colorado's worst drivers to wherever i happen to be whether its some idiot who doesn't check their blind spot and tries to run me off the road or another one who ignores traffic laws they all end up near me, its really annoying since i actually like driving but those people really make it hard for me to enjoy it.
Remember when driving (especially those of you in an SUV) check your blind spot obey the freaking traffic laws and remember other people are on the damn road and stop trying to kill me!

Call Of Duty
Call of Duty, the name is synonymous with success it is one of if not the most successful franchises of this console generation. However I believe that the game is getting a free ride based on precious success this isnt an uncommon thing, Halo 2 and Grand Theft auto four also got a freebie because of this.
To start with the game is short and lacks any kind of staying power within the player's mind, while i can remember most of the four hour campaign I found myself not caring about the outcome because even to the game the outcome of its own campaign didn't matter the only thing that did matter was getting the player to the next area for more digital people to shoot. The game makes an effort to get the player to care about the protagonists who are barely on screen with them only there for about half of the time which two hours is not enough time to care about them. I realize that this is the third game of the series but still i dont think the player will care about what is going on. The game exacerbates this problem by making what seems to be a half assed effort to characterize them. A four hour campaign should not be a staple of games but it is, it feels like game writing is just going out the window with the companies not willing to actually pay for it. The game looks very good but then again so does everything these days so unless a game is really ugly it doesn't get any kind of points for that. For all my complaints about the campaign primarily its length because everything else stems from it the characters that dont matter due to their short screen time the game felt like playing an action movie with lots of high octane action and lots of explosions but even when i remember the part where i got to chase a train in the back of a truck i realize that i dont care why i am doing anything and that is probably the reason they were going for which just should not cut it a game can have those epic moments while also keeping up a good set of everything else. That brings me to the game's multiplayer however long ago when Modern Warfare 1 came out it revolutionized online shooter play with active rpg style elements with the player advancing and being able to unlock new weapons and perks to play with. However a game's multiplayer is only as good as its player base and its maps the rest is so much set dressing. I can say this with certainty owing to my participation in the online player base that call of duty possesses and frankly the vast majority are total jackasses. Thus it certainly isnt the player base though through discussions with a friend of mine we determined that the player base on console will almost always be worse than those on the pc. So if the player base isnt what makes it good then it must be the maps, well that also falls flat with the maps in Modern Warfare 3 being the worst maps that I personally have ever played they are all geared to force players to attack in close to each other and keep everyone firmly on the ground now in the other two the maps had many different ways to get around the map and long range actually being a viable option. Modern warfare 3 seems hell bent on making all their maps as prohibitive and boring as possible. Lastly this is a firm compliant that i will always lodge, the call of duty knife, the one and only weapon that is always a one hit kill. Now why would that ever be a good idea in other games it was a rub it in type weapon one with bragging rights but in MW3 it is a viable primary weapon.
For all you COD readers i will hold to this opinion the game is nothing more than average and will remain average due to god awful publishers and a company willing to roll around in the massive amounts of money foisted upon them by idiotic frat boys who buy their game. Please no hate mail i wont read it anyways.
